Get your sexy back in 2017 workout 

Happy New Years Eve! Don’t leave the house without doing this total body workout. 

No equipment necessary, but, to make it extra challenging you can add ankle bands or weight and hand weights for the leg exercises. 

Get your sexy back in 2017 by doing this working 2-3x per week! 

So many people make a New Years resolution to get in shape. The truth is it’s HARD to do! But, with a little planning you can get your sexy back in 2017. Exercise is more then just looking good, it’s about feeling good emotionally. Many people feel tired, sick, depressed, or just blah when they are sedentary or out of shape. Make this YOUR year to feel good physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. 

Give yourself the highest chances of success, this may mean waking up and doing your workout when everyone in the house is sleeping. Set an alarm for 30 minutes earlier then you normally wake up. This way you can get your workout done before the craziness of the day, before unexpected dilemmas side track you. With kids you never know what the day is going to bring….a 6pm workout that you had planned may not happen because someone’s carpool cancelled or they forgot their costume, etc. Make a point to wake up, commit to you, and notice how good you feel! 
Don’t bite off more then you can chew! Baby steps! Deciding to workout for 1 hour a day 6 days a week can seem daunting. Instead schedule…yes I said schedule (pencil YOURSELF in for once) your workouts for 3 days per week for 30-60 minutes and as you develop a routine you can add days/duration. As moms we plan everyone else’s day, make appointments, doctors visits, meetings etc. But, we NEVER schedule things we WANT to do in. Make this year different put your workout in as an “appointment” and try not to miss it. 

Congratulate yourself…be your biggest fan. Tell yourself positive affirmations during and after your workouts. This will not only help you physically but, the power of words change our inner monologue…and with time they change our entire emotional energy. 

Look for workout to do at home and in the gym! I will be posting at least 2x per week.
